If you do not accept these Terms in full, you must not use our platform or services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement governed by the laws of India and applicable RBI guidelines on digital payment collection.

SortMyLiving provides a technology-enabled facilitation service to assist individuals in preparing and submitting Student Visa applications. Our services include:

Preparation and guidance for all required visa documents.

Form Assistance

Application form review and guidance for accuracy.

Appointment Support

Scheduling support for embassy/consulate appointments.

Courier & Submission

Facilitation of document courier and submission logistics.

Status Tracking

Ongoing assistance with application status updates.

Eligibility

To use our services you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if a minor
  • Be applying for a legitimate Student Visa for the purpose of pursuing education abroad
  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information throughout the application process
  • Hold a valid Indian passport or be a legal resident eligible to apply

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Submit all required documents and information accurately and truthfully
  • Comply with all requirements and deadlines communicated by our team
  • Ensure the authenticity of all documents submitted through our platform
  • Not use our services for any fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful immigration purpose
  • Update us promptly if your personal details, travel plans, or application requirements change
SortMyLiving reserves the right to withdraw services immediately without refund if fraudulent activity or misrepresentation of documents is detected.

Service Fees & Payment

Our service fees are published on the website at the time of application. All fees are:

  • Denominated in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable GST
  • Collected securely through RBI-approved payment gateways
  • Required to be paid in full before application processing commences
  • Non-refundable once the application process has been initiated (see Refund Policy)

All payments are processed securely through PCI-DSS compliant, RBI-approved gateways. We never store your full card details.

Processing Timelines

Estimated processing timelines are provided as a guide only. Actual timelines are subject to embassy/consulate schedules, document completeness, and third-party dependencies.

SortMyLiving shall not be held liable for delays caused by:

  • Incomplete or incorrect documentation provided by the applicant
  • Embassy or consulate processing backlogs
  • Third-party courier or postal delays
  • Public holidays, strikes, or force majeure events
Timeline estimates are indicative only. SortMyLiving makes no guarantees on processing speed and is not responsible for delays outside our direct control.

Intellectual Property

All content on www.sortmyliving.com — including text, logos, graphics, templates, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of SortMyLiving and is protected under Indian copyright and intellectual property laws.

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content on this website is strictly prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SortMyLiving shall not be liable for:

  • Visa refusal, rejection, or cancellation by the relevant authority
  • Losses arising from incorrect information provided by the applicant
  • Delays or failures caused by third-party service providers
  • Any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
Our total aggregate liability shall in no event exceed the service fee paid by you for the specific application in question.

Your personal data is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy available on our website. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

SortMyLiving reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation.

Unresolved disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted in English within India.
